One of the best resorts in Transylvania – Jibou Resort
With pleasure, I invite you to come and see the resort of Jibou Baths in Sălaj County.
Jibou Resort is one of the most important tourist attractions in Transylvania.
It is known for its healing baths arranged since 1966. The resort has a seasonal character and a higher tourist interest locally.
Jibou waters are recommended in internal and external cures, treating hepato-biliary diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, nutritional diseases, obesity, chronic dermatoses, chronic rheumatism, and peripheral nerve disorder.
The treatment base in Jibou has cabins with two and three valves for mineral water treatment, arrangements for heliotherapy and mud baths, swimming pool.
You can enjoy healing baths with special properties that help with external healing.

Tourist Attractions near Jibou Resort
Other tourist attractions that I warmly invite you to visit when you arrive at Băile Jibou are:
Vasile Fati Botanical Garden
The botanical garden was founded in 1968 at the initiative of Professor Vasile Fati. It occupies the space of the amusement park of the medieval castle, the former residence of the Wesselényi family.
Béldy Castle
It was built in 1903 by the Béldy family as a wedding gift for their son, Count Béldy Kálmán.
Nowadays, the castle is the property of the County Council.
Ruins of Almaș Fortress
The Almaș Fortress was built between 1247-1278. It was one of the oldest and most powerful medieval fortresses in Transylvania. But, the only one left standing from the fortress is the 40 m tower.
Nature Reserve Devil´s Rock (Stânca Dracului)
The Devil´s Rock reserve is a protected area in Hida, Romania and it was under protection since 1795.
Therefore, it is known for the strange shapes of the relief formed by Oligocene sandstones, by water erosion, and atmospheric action, more precisely for the mushroom shape (6.50m).
Moșu and Baba Stones
Moșu and Baba stones is a natural monument located on the administrative territory of Napradea commune, 2 km from Somes-Guruslau village. The monument includes two large rocks and a lot of small ones.
Firstly, Mosul Rock (the ¨old man¨) is the big one with approximately 12-13 meters in height. Secondly, Baba is around 5 m high and, as you can imagine, the name means ¨old woman¨.
Dragon Garden
Dragon Garden is a protected nature reserve of geological and landscape types. It´s unique in the world and impresses with the appearance and complexity of the rock shapes.
Nature Reserve Stana Clițului
Last but not least, Nature Reserve Stana Clițului, a protected area of national interest located in Cliț (Babeni commune).
